Why this matters
Most companies grow, but enterprise value is not built intentionally.
Revenue increases, but the drivers of value—leadership, decision quality, systems, and independence from the CEO—do not evolve at the same pace.
The constraint is rarely strategy. It is how the CEO thinks, allocates attention, and makes decisions. As the company grows, the demands change, but the underlying model for building value often does not.
Over time, growth continues, but value lags. The business becomes harder to scale, more dependent on the CEO, and less transferable.
This is where value is lost—long before any exit is considered.
Credentials
My advisory work is grounded in over 30 years of operating experience, including leading and scaling organizations across multiple markets. It is further informed by the perspective gained from serving on multiple boards and working closely with leadership teams through complex growth and decision-making cycles.
This operating depth is reinforced by a rigorous foundation in performance and value creation.
I am a Certified Exit Planning Advisor (CEPA), trained in Baldrige Performance Excellence, and an advisor to Stanford SEED–affiliated companies, bringing a structured approach to enterprise value, execution discipline, and long-term sustainability.
I hold a PhD in Organizational Development and an MBA, which inform a systems-level view of organizations and leadership.
I have also contributed to business education as a guest lecturer at Harvard, Santa Clara, and Northeastern, and have mentored founders across leading accelerators—translating experience into practical frameworks that leaders can apply. I have written for Entrepreneur and Inc.
